The setting for our latest collection isn’t some random spot we decided to take a few pictures at…
11 years ago, a good friend died in this same creek in a car accident. It was raining so hard that night I’ll never forget it… Joseph “JJ” Orrechia was driving that night and apparently his car spun out and crashed through the fence, into the creek. The storm was so bad that the creek was filled with water, and JJ eventually drowned. He had his seat belt on, which ended up trapping him underwater until his demise…
His untimely death was definitely a shock, we were only like 16-17 years old at this time. We decided to take our photos here, to pay homage to the homie because we know he among others we lost are watching over us. This ain’t just no regular fucking creek…
